The third painting of the series. I was inspired by the snowdrops blooming in the woods back on the first day of February. This brought me so much joy, a little hope for the longer and brighter days ahead. They looked rather sleepy and dainty, I just had to include them in my series. I adore the colour contrast of the blues, greens and white in the piece. 

Snowdrops symbolises new beginnings and overcoming challenges. So there's no surprise I felt a warm feeling when I saw them bloom in February. This painting would be a perfect reminder that there is hope. And let this painting radiate vibes of encouragement. The Sleeping Snowdrops are painted with oils, on a 20 x 20 cm deep edge canvas.
